I am a Java backend engineer with over 5 years of experience building REST APIs and distributed backend systems, including asynchronous, event-driven messaging between services. My work sits at the intersection of backend architecture, cloud infrastructure, and observability, with a strong focus on debugging distributed systems end-to-end and taking full ownership of technical problems from design through resolution.
I hold an MSc in Digital Health from the Hasso Plattner Institute, University of Potsdam, where my thesis, SUBEAT, developed a framework for anonymizing sensitive smartphone usage data to enable flexible clinical trials — achieving 95% entity-recognition accuracy while ensuring HIPAA/GDPR compliance. Before my master’s, I completed a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh.
Currently
I am a Backend & Infrastructure Engineer at Rhesis AI (Aug 2025 – present), an open-source GenAI testing platform that enables cross-functional teams to design and automate quality validation for AI applications. My primary focus is cloud infrastructure: I provisioned all GCP infrastructure using Terraform, built a GitOps delivery pipeline with ArgoCD, and run a production observability stack (Prometheus, Loki, Alloy, Grafana) across 10+ microservices. In addition, I deployed a custom containerized 8B-parameter LLM on Vertex AI using vLLM with 8-bit quantization, reducing inference latency by 40% while supporting concurrent requests. I also contribute smaller backend features to the platform, supported by AI-assisted engineering tools like Claude Code.
Previously
I spent over 3 years as a Backend Engineer at Mitigant, where I designed and built Java (Spring Boot) microservices for a Cloud Attack Emulation SaaS platform offering 50+ attack scenarios across AWS and Azure, based on the MITRE ATT&CK and ATLAS frameworks. I took full ownership of the Azure cloud attack emulation feature from design to deployment, and implemented comprehensive unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito) achieving over 80% code coverage.
