I design and build backend systems and the cloud infrastructure they run on from Java/Python microservices to production Kubernetes platforms on GCP. My work spans the full stack of a modern AI platform: API and service design, GitOps-driven deployment (Terraform, ArgoCD), and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
Currently Backend & Infrastructure Engineer at Rhesis AI, an open-source platform for structured testing and evaluation of LLMs and Gen AI applications. I built backend services (FastAPI, Python) alongside the GCP infrastructure that runs them provisioning multi-project environments with Terraform, deploying a custom LLM inference service on Vertex AI, and implementing end-to-end observability across the platform.
Previously Backend Engineer at Mitigant, where I built Java/Spring Boot microservices for a Cloud Attack Emulation SaaS platform offering 50+ attack scenarios across AWS and Azure, based on the MITRE ATT&CK and ATLAS frameworks.
MSc in Digital Health from the Hasso Plattner Institute, University of Potsdam. Thesis on anonymizing sensitive smartphone data for flexible clinical N-of-1 trials, achieving 95% entity-recognition accuracy.
